facilities

P.H Medical Centre provides a plethora of preventive diagnostic and medical facilities with end-to-end services assuring accuracy and technological advancements at every stage

mri - 1.5 t

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues within the body unlike X-rays and CT scans.

stress test

Also known as treadmill or exercise test determines and helps the doctor understand how well your heart handles being pushed. It typically monitors your breathing patterns, blood pressure, heart rate, and heart rhythm.

pathology

Pathology tests are taken to study diseases through blood tests, urine tests, stools, and bodily tissues.

sonography (3d/4d)

Sonography is a medical test that uses high-frequency sound waves and ultrasound waves to create an image of internal body structures such as tendons, muscles, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs. Its aim is often to find a source of a disease or to exclude pathology. 3-dimentional and 4-dimentional sonography are used during pregnancy to detect baby’s profiles and real-time movement.

2d echo with color doppler

2D Echo is a test for the heart wherein an ultrasound technique is used to take images of the heart. It showcases beating of the heart, chambers, valves, and the major blood vessels of heart in cross sectional ‘slice’. Whereas ‘Doppler’ is a special element of this ultrasound exam that assesses the heart’s blood flow.

color doppler

A Doppler ultrasound is an imaging test that uses sound waves to show blood moving through blood vessels. A regular ultrasound also uses sound waves to create images of structures inside the body, but it does not show blood flow.

ecg

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a medical test that detects cardiac (heart) abnormalities and records the electrical signal from your heart to check for different heart conditions. Electrodes are placed on your chest to record your heart's electrical signals, which cause your heart to beat.

eeg

An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test to detect problems in the electrical activity of the brain. In an EEG, this faint electrical activity is measured by putting electrodes on the scalp.

digital x-ray

Digital radiography is a form of radiography that uses X-ray–sensitive plates to directly capture data during the patient examination, immediately transferring it to a computer system without the use of an intermediate cassette. Digital X-rays let you control the color of the image, enlarge it, enhance it and a lot more. Essentially, these features improve our ability to detect diseases and its current status.

Digital Mammography

Digital mammography, also known as full-field digital mammography (FFDM), is a system in which the X-ray film is replaced by solid-state detectors that convert X-rays into electrical signals. These detectors are like those found in digital cameras.

PFTs

Pulmonary function tests are a group of procedures that measure the function of the lungs, revealing problems in the way a patient breathes. The tests can determine the cause of shortness of breath and may help confirm lung diseases, such as asthma, bronchitis, or emphysema.

Multislice CT Scans

The multi-slice CT scan uses several detectors that are closely placed to gather multiple layers of data in one go versus a single slice CT that uses X-Ray in a single detector. In this way, the MSCT has a very high capacity to detect problems which are also the reason for their popularity in recent times. It is not only high in quality, but also saves money and time.

Full-body Health check-ups

Full-body health check-ups should be done regularly as they can help detect problems before they start. The exams and screenings you require depends on your age, health and family history, and lifestyle choices such as what you eat, how active you are, and whether you smoke or not.

OPGs

Orthopantomography, also known as OPG X-ray is a panoramic radiography, and a type of X-ray scan that gives a wide view of the lower face. It can display all the teeth in both your jaws on one film, including those that have not surfaced or erupted yet, such as the wisdom teeth.

Sleep study

A sleep study is a test that records the activity of the body while its asleep. It helps doctors diagnose sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, periodic limb movement disorder, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, and night-time behaviors like sleepwalking and REM sleep behavior disorder.

Allergy Tests

Allergy testing is a method for medical diagnosis of allergies that attempts to provoke a small, controlled, allergic response to allergens. It is conducted through a prick test where the skin is pricked with a needle or pin containing a small amount of the allergen. It can also be done through a Patch test by applying a patch of the allergen to the skin.

bone mineral density

A bone mineral density (BMD) test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are in an area of your bone. This test helps your doctor to detect osteoporosis and predict the risk for bone fractures.

Eye check-ups

An eye examination is a series of tests performed to assess vision and ability to focus on and discern objects. Eye examinations are primarily performed by an optometrist, ophthalmologists, or orthoptists.

E.N.T./Audiometry

An audiology exam tests your ability to hear sounds. Sounds vary based on their loudness (intensity) and the speed of sound wave vibrations (tone).

Dental check-ups

During a dental exam, the dentist or hygienist will clean your teeth and check for cavities and gum disease. The exam includes evaluating your risk of developing other oral problems and checking your face, neck, and mouth for any other abnormalities.

Body fat analyzers

Measuring weight alone is not a completely accurate assessment of health or fitness because it doesn't distinguish pounds that come from fat and pounds that come from lean muscle mass. Everyone needs some body fat but too much fat results in obesity, hence body fat analyzers are used to detect potential obesity-driving diseases.

diet plans

At P.H Medical Centre, our dietitian will work with you to create a customized nutrition plan based on your goals, lifestyle, personal nutrition assessment, as well a social assessment and help you achieve your goal accordingly.
